TOKYO, 28 November 2025 – Representing Her Excellency Ambassador Maria Terezinha da Silva Viegas, Ms. Faviola Henriques da Cruz, Administrative and Finance Officer of the Timor-Leste Embassy in Tokyo, attended the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).
The ceremony, held at the Embassy of the Lao PDR in Tokyo, marked a significant milestone for the nation. Timor-Leste’s participation underscores the warm friendship and solidarity between the two countries, as they continue to strengthen bilateral and regional cooperation.
