Ambassador Viegas Meets with Vice President of the UN Association of Japan
TOKYO, 16 October 2026 — Ambassador Maria Terezinha da Silva Viegas of Timor-Leste to Japan, accompanied by Counsellor Célio Moniz, held a luncheon meeting with Mr. Sukehiro Hasegawa, Vice President of the UN Association of Japan, Inc.

Mr. Hasegawa was accompanied by Mr. Eiji Oyamada, Director of the International Center at Doshisha University and a professor at the university, and Mr. Tomoki Nonaka, Founder and former CEO of TimorAds.
The meeting took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, providing an opportunity to strengthen personal ties and institutional relations.
