TOKYO, January 13, 2026 – The Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to Japan, H.E. Maria Terezinha da Silva Viegas, along with embassy officials, received an official visit from the Minister of Public Works, H.E. Mr. Samuel Marçal, and his delegation at the Embassy of Timor-Leste in Tokyo.

Strengthening Institutional Coordination
The visit served as an opportunity for Minister Marçal to observe firsthand the strategic role, functions, and ongoing activities carried out by the diplomatic mission in Japan. As the country’s official representation, the Embassy continues to fulfill its vital mandate in diplomacy and external services.
