Counsellor Célio received Mr. Daisuke Fukumori, Country Director for JICA Timor-Leste; Mr. Ogawa Tomohiro, Representative of JICA Timor-Leste; and Mr. Iwano Junnosuke, Senior Director of the Southeast Asia and Pacific Department at JICA Headquarters.
The primary objective of the meeting was to provide the Embassy with comprehensive updates on JICA's current initiatives in Timor-Leste. Key areas of discussion included the progress of the new international airport infrastructure project, strategic developments in the fisheries sector, and other vital areas of socio-economic cooperation.
