Labour Attaché Meets Cooperatives and Visits Technical Interns in Hokkaido

Labor Attaché, Mr. João Medonça, held meetings with Universal Industries Cooperative and International Relation Cooperative to discuss the implementation of the Technical Intern Training (TIT) Programme and employment opportunities in the nursing care sector.

During the visit, site inspections were also conducted at Yamakou and Daigomi to directly observe working conditions and meet with Timorese technical interns employed in the meat processing industry. The purpose of these visits was to ensure the interns' well‑being and to strengthen cooperation among all stakeholders involved.
