Ambassador Viegas Attends China’s National Day Reception in Tokyo

Tokyo, 24 September 2026 — H.E. Maria Terezinha da Silva Viegas, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to Japan, accompanied by Labour Attaché João, attended the National Day Reception of the People’s Republic of China in Tokyo.

The reception opened with remarks by H.E. the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Japan, who welcomed the distinguished guests and highlighted the significance of the occasion, marking the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

Tóquio, 24 de setembro de 2026 — Sua Excelência Maria Terezinha da Silva Viegas, Embaixadora da República Democrática de Timor-Leste no Japão, acompanhada pelo Adido do Trabalho, João, participou na Receção por ocasião do Dia Nacional da República Popular da China, realizada em Tóquio.

A receção teve início com as palavras de Sua Excelência o Embaixador da República Popular da China no Japão, que deu as boas-vindas aos ilustres convidados e destacou o significado da ocasião, que assinala o 77.º aniversário da fundação da República Popular da China.
