Timor-Leste Joins Hiroshima Flower Offering Ceremony, Honours Victims of the 1945 Atomic Bombing

Upon his arrival in Hiroshima city at 15:20 local time, Counselor Celio of the Embassy of Timor-Leste in Tokyo joined fellow diplomatic representatives in the official Flower Offering Ceremony, paying solemn tribute at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims in honour of those who lost their lives in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in 1945.

The ceremony, held ahead of the city's annual Peace Memorial commemorations, brought together members of the diplomatic corps and dignitaries from around the world in a shared gesture of remembrance.
