Timor-Leste Parliamentary Delegation Visits Kansei Training Centre to Explore Advanced Sanitation Technologies

Following a luncheon, the Chair of Commission E and the delegation of the National Parliament of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste travelled to Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, to visit the facilities and training centre of Kansei as part of their official working visit to Japan.

The delegation was accompanied by Counselor Célio Moniz, Mr. Egídio, Labour Attaché João, and officials of the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Japan throughout the visit.

The programme included a presentation on the company's activities, a visit to the Hasegawa Memorial Hall, and demonstrations of technologies and equipment used for the inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of sanitation networks. The delegation also observed high-pressure cleaning systems, camera inspection technologies, and operational simulators that support the efficient management of sanitation infrastructure.

The visit provided an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of innovative solutions and best practices that may contribute to strengthening technical capacity and supporting the development of more resilient and efficient sanitation infrastructure in Timor-Leste.
