Accompanied by representatives of the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Tokyo, the delegation was introduced to the airport's management and operational practices through presentations and site visits, providing valuable insight into the systems that support the efficient operation of Narita International Airport.
The visit provided an opportunity to learn about Japan's best practices in airport management and operations in the context of the development of the new terminal at Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport in Dili. It also contributed to strengthening cooperation between Timor-Leste and Japan through the exchange of knowledge and experience in the aviation sector.
