TOKYO, 28 April 2026 – H.E. Ambassador Maria Terezinha Viegas, accompanied by Ms. Faviola, Technical Finance Officer, attended “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026”, Asia’s largest startup and technology conference, held today at Tokyo Big Sight.
The Embassy’s participation aimed to engage in high-level discussions regarding the implementation of future technologies and the exploration of strategic frameworks for cross-border expansions.
During the conference, the delegation explored innovative solutions that could potentially be adapted to Timor-Leste’s growing digital landscape and discussed ways to foster international collaboration within the global startup ecosystem.
